Today’s post is a little different – it’s an Earth Breeze Laundry Eco Sheets Review – because I truly believe in products that are eco-friendly and that simplify our lives!
Earth Breeze is revolutionizing the laundry industry and I want you to hear all about it.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I believe in making life simpler, less stressful, and more positive. And that means focusing on ways to simplify some of the more mundane aspects of life – if you can’t avoid them, improve them!
One thing that just isn’t going away is laundry.
Now, I don’t hate doing laundry – out of all the household chores, it probably grates on my nerves the least. Part of that is because I have a system to make sure that I finish the laundry every time. As in washed, dried, folded, and put away. And since I only have to go through the process once or twice a week, it’s not so bad!
Lately, I have been more and more focused on the impact plastics are making on our environment.
Those big jugs of laundry detergent waste are incredibly wasteful, both in terms of water content and plastic.
They are also messy to use – and heavy – and awkward to lug around.
It was time to find a better way.

Earth Breeze EcoSheets Are a Better Way of Doing Laundry
Lucky me! Just as I was doing my research to find an eco-friendly alternative to those hefty jugs of liquid detergent, I was contacted by the friendly folks at Earth Breeze to see if I’d like to sample their product! I did a little research on the company before I accepted, and saw nothing but positive information and rave reviews.
Of course, I said yes! Here is my Earth Breeze Eco Sheets Review.
Note: I do want to make it clear, in the interest of transparency, that Earth Breeze provided me with free samples of their detergent sheets. However, my opinions are completely my own. I would never recommend a product or service I did not fully support and use myself.
What Are Earth Breeze EcoSheets?
Earth Breeze Eco Sheets are sheets of laundry detergent, premeasured and without added liquid.

My Earth Breeze Experience
I generally prefer a fragrance-free product (I have a very sensitive nose) but since I received both the fragrance-free and fresh scent, I thought it only made sense to try them both.
I was pleased that the fresh scent was indeed nice and light, like fresh linen. Also, I couldn’t smell it on the clothes after washing – they just smelled clean. To me, this was a plus, but if you like a fragrance on your clothes, you might see it as a negative. I just have a personal aversion to strong artificial scents, so this was one more way Earth Breeze made me happy.
Everything I washed simply smelled clean. No leftover odors – no doggy smells from my friend Ozzie – even my husband’s favorite stinky t-shirt smelled clean.
There’s no bigger endorsement than a clean-smelling favorite t-shirt, is there?
Everything came out of the laundry looking clean, too. Including:
- A white t-shirt with tomato sauce splatter (I’m a messy cook)
- My favorite white jeans that I managed to cover with grass and dirt stains at a picnic (I’m messy in general)
- Ozzie the lab’s beach towel covered in sand, salt, and dog hair (Oz – also messy)
I was impressed!
In case you were curious, My washing machine is an HE(high efficiency) top-loading machine that’s about two years old. It’s a Maytag.
My clothes are washed in cold water, and sheets and towels go in hot.
I do not add fabric softeners, bleach, or any products other than detergent to my wash, except for the occasional cup of white vinegar in with the towels.
I do not use dryer sheets either – I much prefer wool dryer balls.
How do Earth Breeze EcoSheets Work?
These sheets are so, so easy to use!
Because they are pre-measured, you just toss 1 sheet (4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and not much thicker than a sheet of paper) on top of your wash load. Run the machine as usual. The sheets dissolve almost instantly into a powerful, concentrated detergent. That’s it!
Small load? Tear a sheet in half for less detergent.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m told you can even hand wash with these Eco Sheets. I will update this post for sure once I do, as I tend to have a lot of hand washable. (Edited to add: hand washing is easy and effective!)
How are Earth Breeze EcoSheets Packaged?
Earth Breeze packages its product in an earth-friendly cardboard envelope.
There is zero plastic packaging.
This is huge.
Cardboard is much more sustainable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly than plastic.
You can even bury the packaging and use it as compost!
Why Are Plastic Laundry Jugs So Terrible for the Environment?
It is estimated that only about 9% of plastic actually gets recycled.
Over 700,000,000 plastic jugs end up in landfills and oceans each year.
73% of beach litter worldwide is plastic.
Plastic can take up to 1000 years to decompose.
By 2050 it is estimated that there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans.
Plastic is killing more than 1.1 million seabirds and animals every year.
The average person eats 70,000 microplastics each year.Giving Compass
To be absolutely honest, I probably would have considered switching to an eco-friendly detergent brand even if the results were just “ok”, due to the horror that is plastic.
I’m so happy that I don’t have to worry about that because Earth Breeze cleans my laundry so well!
Additional Benefits of Using Earth Breeze
Plastic jugs are heavy and bulky and can be hard to open and close.
They also tend to be messy and drippy and take up a ton of space.
Earth Breeze packages are compact, light, and never drippy.
